My Friends+ His Friends = Our Friends!

Ladies, we all know how easy it is to plan a fun Girls Night Out, and the fellas no doubt can coordinate a Guys Night Out in a heartbeat, but what about us all getting together. You know my friends + your friends = Our Friends!

Quite frankly, I am tired of planning fun times with my girlfriends, and I will admit that I get jealous sometimes if/when I see the guys hanging out more than us. Within the past year, we have all slowed down with the large gatherings; however, there are some events where we can and should bring our significant other. For example, my husband and I attended one of my girlfriends’ housewarmings. Usually, we would have gone solo because one of us would have stayed behind with our children. Instead, we went together and had a ball.

Then, last Friday night, we went to an awesome Tequila

tasting hosted by one of his coworkers. We had so much fun – together. It was way better than me waiting up for him to come home and tell me all about it. We drank, laughed, ate, and drank more until the 30 and over crowd began to come in droves. Then we figured it was time to head home. Although I felt like we could have hung a little longer with them, it is important to know when to go home.

I do not want to go out by myself anymore, and I hope my spouse feels the same way to have more fun and make more memories together.
